Situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Dryandra Woodland, the Lions Dryandra Village was established in the late 1920's as a Forests Department settlement for the harvesting of mallet bark for the tanning industry. Today it offers rustic accommodation in the thick of unique Dryandra Woodland flora and fauna.

The Village has six self contained cottages sleeping up to 12 people, plus two smaller cottages sleeping two and four people respectively. There is also the Currawong complex available, which caters for large groups of up to 56 people, perfect for school groups.

The village is situated in the 28,000 hectares of Dryandra Woodland, which is home to a number of rare native mammals, including Bilbies, Woylies, Tammar Wallabies and the Numbat. Check out DECs website for more information on the rare flora and fauna in the woodland. The unique location makes it a great place to stay for photographers, educationalists, conservationists, ecologists, naturalists, holiday makers and astronomers.
